Short-Term Accommodation (STA) or Respite

Short term Accommodation or Respite, an NDIS funded service, is one of the three home and living support services we provide at Karakan. It is designed to offer a safe and comfortable place to stay for a short period of time when your regular caregivers or support systems are unavailable or during certain circumstances when you require additional assistance.

The three types of home and living support services include Supported Independent Living(SIL), Individualised Living Options(ILO) and Short-Term Accommodation(STA).

Whether it is for respite, transition periods, or other short-term needs, STA offers a valuable solution for NDIS customers to ensure continuous support and promote their mental health.
